Dragonbrands in the inventory
Dragonbrands are rune-like items that can be assigned to dragons to make them stronger and give them passive abilities. They can be assigned and upgraded in the Sacred Altar and are split into 6 rarities. Depending on their set, they grant different set bonuses, but main bonuses are randomised for each dragonbrand.
Players can obtain
Legendary Dragonbrands when they reach level 50, and
Mythic after they reach level 70.
As of update v.1.0.14, every dragonbrand can be locked to prevent accidental deleting.
All ways of obtaining dragonbrands are shown below. Grayed out icons mean that those sets cannot be obtained with the corresponding method, and the
icon means the method only grants random dragonbrands.
Not all sets can be obtained through random dragonbrand rewards. Usually, the newer sets (for example,

Mars or

Achilles) cannot be obtained from a random dragonbrand, but the exact available sets are unknown and subject to change.
Spacetime Rift
Spacetime Rift can be challenged to obtain dragonbrands in bigger numbers, and their rarity depends on the difficulty. Can be challenged a limited number of times per day as Spacetime Keys

needed to challenge it replenish every 12 hours.
Dragonbrand Shop
Ore

obtained in the
Forest of the Sprites can be exchanged for dragonbrands only. The shop refreshes every 6 hours, with 8 possible options to be bought. This allows for obtaining specific dragonbrands.
Dark Trial
Player receives random dragonbrands and Dragonbrand Material as one of the main rewards for clearing Floors.
Alliance Shop
Alliance Coins

obtained by contributing to the alliance can be exchanged for a random dragonbrand of a chosen rarity, along with other items.
Ruins
Dragons can be sent to explore the Ruins, and random dragonbrands are one of the possible rewards.
Adventure
Clearing Adventure stages grants dragonbrands, and they can be obtained from the Auto Adventure loot.
Quests
Some Quests give random dragonbrands as rewards upon completion.
Free Dragonbrand Chest
1 chest granting 1 random dragonbrand can be opened for free in the
Shop on a daily basis.
Golden Dragonbrand Chest
2 golden dragonbrand chests appear in the
Shop every day. Each chest has a dragonbrand set corresponding to it, and buying it for 5

Dark Gold Keys rewards a guaranteed Mythic dragonbrand of that set and 2 random rewards. The chests can be refreshed for the chosen set with 50

Gems.
Events
Some events grant dragonbrands as one of the rewards. There is no event focused on dragonbrands specifically.
Monthly Sign-In
After logging in 28 days in a month, 2 random Mythic dragonbrands are given as a reward.
Honor Stele
Random dragonbrands are one of the rewards for reaching certain milestones.
Honor Shop
A random Mythic dragonbrand can be bought for 30

Medals of Honor.
Currently there are 18 dragonbrand sets in the game, each granting 2 bonuses:
- 2-piece Bonus - (2) for short - is activated when a dragon has at least 2 dragonbrands from the same set equipped.
- 4-piece Bonus - (4) for short - activates when it has at least 4.
- If a dragon has all 6 dragonbrands from the same set equipped, the 2-piece Bonus is doubled.
Different sets can combine, which means a dragon can have a (2) and (4) bonus from one set, and a (2) bonus from another, by equipping 4 and 2 dragonbrands from these sets. It's also possible to have 3 different (2) bonuses, at the cost of not having any (4) bonus.

Positions and Bonuses[edit source]
Every dragonbrand has one of 6 possible positions, depicted with roman numerals. Positions are not interchangeable, which means a Freyr IV cannot be equipped in a II slot.
Dragonbrands have primary and secondary bonuses. Primary bonus (first on the list) is determined by the position and is upgraded with every level of the brand. Secondary bonuses are randomly generated when a dragonbrand is obtained, and are upgraded (or new ones are added) every 3 levels of a brand. A dragonbrand can have a maximum of 4 secondary bonuses.
Possible primary bonuses for slot:

enchancing a Freyr brand to level 12
Dragonbrands can be enhanced up to level 15, starting at level 0 when obtained. Every time a brand is enhanced, its primary bonus rises, and every 3 levels (at level 3, 6, 9 etc.) A random secondary bonus is added or upgraded if there are already 4.
Enhancing requires sacrificing other dragonbrands or Dragonbrand Material to gain XP for the enhanced brand.
Enhancing happens in the Sacred Altar and costs gold that is equivalent to 10x the XP used in the process. XP is stored in the dragonbrand and is not lost if a new level is not reached, which allows enhancing a dragonbrand multiple times before it gains a bonus. As opposed to sacrificing and upgrading dragons in the Spacetime Altar, this process is instant.

Dragonbrand XP is a separate thing from player

. Player Experience Points are not changed while enhancing dragonbrands.
